Aaron Goldstein, PT, DPT

Biography

Aaron was born and raised in Easton, Massachusetts. He graduated from Boston College with a degree in Communications. He later received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

Prior to physical therapy he was a licensed massage therapist and completed extensive training in The Feldenkrais Method®. Aaron utilizes a mind-body perspective to treat each patient as a whole rather than as a “diagnosis”, with the goal of empowering patients with education and a home program geared toward return to the things most important to them.

Aaron is a lifelong learner and continues to further his training with the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine U.S. so that he can provide evaluations and treatments based on the most current research.

Aaron’s recreational interests include: hiking, running, climbing, yoga and meditation. During his time at UNM, he lead weekly meditation sessions for fellow students to assist with the stressors of graduate work. He has also completed a 4-year, 100 day silent meditation retreat program and is currently a meditation teacher for the Foundation for Active Compassion.
